The following list is subject to change at any time. Please refer to your provider directory to ensure that Suncoast Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine along with Dr. Derek Cuff are accepted by your insurance plan/network or contact your insurance company’s member services. In addition to the following list, we also accept:
- All original Medicare plans
- Medicare Replacement/Advantage plans from Aetna, Blue Cross and BlueShield, Humana, (not HMO) and United Healthcare
- Most private, fee-for- service health plans
- Most standard Medigap/Medicare supplemental plans
Please note that we may not be in network with all plans for all payers. It is the responsibility of the patient to verify whether we are contracted with your particular network within the health insurance plan. Please call your health plan for specific information. Except for the four plans listed above, Suncoast Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and our Providers are an out-of- network provider for Medicare Replacement/Advantage HMO, PPO and POS plans. Except in emergency situations, using an out-of-network facility can result in a patient being responsible for a larger portion of a provider’s bill.

We take Florida workers compensation claims as long as we have prior approval along with Florida automobile claims. We do not take out of state claims.
